MEN'S HEALING
What does it mean to be a man in our times? Must we be isolated, competitive, and not express our emotions? We are expected to provide for our families, and be sensitive to the needs of others, - yet often neglect our own well-being? What are men's coping skills? Work, alcohol, sex, drugs, food, exercise, sport television? These can all become avoidance tactics, part of the fallacy "big boys don't cry", leaving us unable to ask for the help we may benefit from.
