     We, at Greenwood Counseling & Psychotherapy, provide mental health and substance abuse counseling, evaluations, and assessments to individuals and families serving Fairfield County.
                                                               
     We are lisenced and certified clinicians with over a decade of experience assisting individuals, couples, and families to improve their level of functioning. 
    
     We provide constructive, result-oriented approach to individuals and families who are struggling with negative impact of alcohol and drug abuse, co-occuring disorders and relationship issues - parenting, couple's issues, divorce, separation.

     We provide specialized treatment for individuals with post traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders, anger management, and problem gambling.  

     We have a thorough knowledge of Twelve Steps programs (Alcoholics Anonymous), and work closely with individuals and families in recovery on maintaining abstinence and issues other then substance abuse.

Services include:

     Coordinating treatment with community organizations (criminal and family courts, family services, aduption agencies, immigration agencies, etc.).

     We meet the qualifications of American Substance Abuse Professionals (ASAP) and are working closely with Department of Transportation and  Employee Assistance Programs.
                                      

     Insurance reimbursements depend on individual coverage. We are participating providers for Aetna, Anthem BC/BS, Cigna, United Behavioral Health, PHCS Plans, and ValueOptions. We provide out of network services with other carriers. We accept cash or check payments.
